Welcome to the web site of GB-BIO, a locally-owned and run company, set up to create and manage the Tansterne Straw-burning CHP Plant in Holderness, East Yorkshire, UK.
The Plant has been in development for a number of years (see About Us) and has successfully obtained outline planning permission. GB-BIO is taking the plant to the next stage by dealing with Planning Reserved Matters, Environmental Permitting and supply of Feedstock. The Plant is expected to be operational in 2012.

- Reserved matters:
When planning approval was granted by the Secretary of State, conditions were imposed requiring further details to be submitted. GB-BIO is developing the required details to satisfy these reserved matters.
