Richard Caley
Richard is the Managing Director of GB-BIO Ltd. He has combined extensive experience in farming, machinery and haulage with his interest in renewable energy and a belief in the importance of a locally vibrant economy. The result the creation of the Tansterne CHP Plant.
Richard's favourite phrase is "I've been thinking..."
Jayne Naylor
Jayne has considerable experience in senior management and administration and, after working across the UK, has now returned home to the East Riding of Yorkshire.
Jayne is Richard's Personal Assistant and GB-BIO's Administrative Manager.
Steve Anstice
Steve's career has taken him through various roles at Yorkshire Electricity before becoming their senior environmental manager. Steve now runs his own environmental consultancy. Steve provides GB-BIO with expertise in Environmental Management Systems and project management, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the electricity industry and issues around electricity generation, connection and supply.
Bill Blackledge
Bill is a landscape architect who has had a major role in the design and visualisation of the CHP plant and its setting, throughout the planning process. Bill provides technical, graphical and moral support, website design and occasional difficult questions to the rest of the team.
Dave Hickling
Following a career in Beverley Borough Council planning department, Dave now runs two planning consultancies, one focussing on strategic planning advice and training across the UK, the other dealing with more local and regional planning applications. Dave provides advice on planning issues for GB-BIO.
